Microsoft’s Surface Hub: A Conference Room Solution

Microsoft has recently unveiled its innovative screen device, the Surface Hub, meant to improve business collaboration radically. The Surface Hub is a 55-inch and 84-inch interactive displays having voice with video, speakers with addressees, white boards with presentations, Android with iOS, and Windows 10 with conference rooms. The device will to available on sale from July 1, and on Sept. 1. The price for the 55-inch model is US$6,999 and for the 84-inch version, price is set for $19,999.

The key objective of the surface hub is to modernize the meeting by including remote participants. The participants in the room can have a great view of those remote participants and the device will assist in engaging everyone present in a meeting. The innovative cameras would provide a full range of all participants that are part of the meeting. The features of Microsoft Surface Hub 55” and 84” are given below in a table.

Right before the launch of the devices, people have major issue on the estimated prices of the Microsoft Surface Hub. Moreover, they argue on the absence of current generation chips and that they only have 8GB of RAM, which is not sufficient. However, we wish the Microsoft best of luck for launching another exciting product and hope that the surface hub would emerge as a complete conference room solution to facilitate in future meetings.
